✦ My Shrines (WIP) ✦
Pokemon
Ahh, Pokémon. Many people's childhood.
I've watched the anime when I was a kid, as I was getting ready for school, but honestly my obsession with it started with the games!
I didn't have the opportunity to get a Game Boy myself, but I did try an emulator at that time, and I got to try many amazing games. Between those, I remember Pokémon with very fond memories ♥.
My first encounter with the game series was Pokémon Sapphire (a Generation III Pokémon game, released in 2002 for the Game Boy Advance).
I didn't know what to expect, but considering I've always liked RPGs, I thought It'd be fun to give it a go. And, oh boy, did I enjoy it!
I immediately fell in love with the art, the music, the story, and even the Pokémon designs! Before I even realized, I was already obsessed. I remember coming back from school and jumping right in on my Pokémon adventure!
Pokeballs...and my fav, which is the Masterball!
I even made a trainer OC, with a couple of my fav pokemon (because I have too many)
Aaaan I also own plushies of some of them!
Torchic
I have many favourite Pokémon, but I guess, the one and only, will always be Torchic. Which was my starter Pokémon, so he has a special spot in my heart. I just loved his design (mine was a boy), and I remember I'd named him something silly, 'Pollito', which is Spanish for 'little chicken or baby chicken', lol.
It was fun seeing him evolve, and he was also my partner in hard times. We went to multiple adventures and met new people, and Pokémon! I also loved the sound he made, I found him adorable!
I also love collecting plushies, btw, and it was A MUST to get my very own Torchic plushie! So here it is, say hello ~
Eevee
I wasn't impressed at first, to be honest. Don't get me wrong, Eevee is adorable, but when I saw the pokemon for the first time, I was like, 'eh'. But then I've learned that it could evolve into multiple types, so I was intrigued.
I fell in love with all the evolutions, so at some point it became one of my fav, as well!
And… I also own an Eevee plushie, here:
Magikarp/Gyarados
This is a funny one, lol, but I just love how ridiculous Magikarp looks and how, in the game, it's completely useless, until it reaches LVL 20! This is where it starts to be fun, because it turns into Gyarados! I loved this silly little challenge when I played the game, and I also was fascinated by how cool Gyarados was, so I would definitely try to evolve a Magikarp!
And, as you can already imagine, I own a Magikarp plushie as well, hehe

Studio Ghibli
Studio Ghibli has been one of my biggest inspirations — its worlds, its characters, its quiet kind of magic. These films shaped the way I tell stories and create characters of my own. There’s something so special about them; they feel alive in a way few others do.
Unlike so much of modern anime, Ghibli’s characters don’t need to be perfect or polished — they’re beautifully human. They have flaws, dreams, fears, and hopes, and they’re already radiant without being sexualized. Every film feels like stepping into a soft, whimsical dream; the kind of world I always long to lose myself in.
But not all of Ghibli’s tales are gentle ones — some are deeply emotional, even heartbreaking. Beneath the magic, there are stories about grief, war, loss, and growing up, themes that can be heavy and raw. That’s part of what I love most: it’s not just “a bunch of kids’ movies,” but a tapestry of stories with different tones and truths for every kind of viewer.
Even though I’ve watched many of them (and loved most!), there are a few that have completely stolen my heart. My very first Ghibli film was Howl’s Moving Castle, and I fell instantly in love. Every scene, every detail — and especially Calcifer (who’s now immortalized as my favorite pair of earrings!).
Hamtaro Ham Ham!
I grew up with Hamtaro, and honestly, it shaped my whole idea of cozy storytelling. The charm, the tiny adventures, the soft friendships — everything about it was pure comfort. Bijou’s (Lacitos, for spanish) little crush on Hamtaro was one of my favorite things, mostly because he was adorably oblivious. These are the characters that stayed with me through the years — and yes, I even got to play the gameboy games!
I loved all of them. Here are some of the hamsters in the show.
But my fav 2 are Hamtaro and Bijou!
And lastly, some of the games I've played
Terraria
Welcome to my little Terraria shrine — the place where my obsession truly took root (and probably tunneled all the way to the Underworld). I fell in love with everything about this game — the endless weapons and accessories (and the several ways to get them), the creativity it sparks, and the sheer joy of shaping your own little world block by block.
What I adore most is how much freedom you have: fight, build, explore, decorate — there’s no wrong way to play. The boss battles keep me hooked, the item collecting keeps me grinding, and the building keeps me dreaming.
Of course, it’s not all peace and pixel sunsets. Terraria has betrayed me more times than I can count — like the moments I’m quietly crafting or decorating, only for a boss to spawn out of nowhere and scare the life out of me. Or when I’m exploring the caves, feeling proud of myself for disarming a dart trap… only to step directly onto the pressure plate of a second one and get poisoned anyway. I swear I’m careful, but somehow, at least once per session, I *trigger something* I shouldn’t.
And don’t even get me started on my first hardmode experience — I had just defeated the Wall of Flesh, no hardmode armor or fancy weapons,
when a Wyvern swooped down to absolutely annihilate me. Four times. In a row. For no reason.
Oh, also, I had to re-do my whole base and NPCs village as floating islands, since the Hollow biome had decided to literally spawn rght next to my base, because, why not?
Moments like these are what keep me coming back. It’s a love-hate relationship at this point — equal parts chaos and charm, frustration and fascination. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Detectives Books
A quiet shrine to the stories that sharpened my mind and kept me guessing long after the final page. Here rest my favorite detectives — flawed, brilliant, and forever unforgettable.
I do read other genres (epic fantasy is a big one!), and I’ll probably make a space for those soon. But for now, this is my little collection of mystery treasures — a list that keeps growing with every clue and confession.
I’ve loved mysteries for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was glued to Scooby-Doo and spent countless hours on old flash adventure games — hunting for clues, interrogating suspects, and solving puzzles. Looking back, it feels inevitable that I’d end up falling head over heels for murder mysteries and detective novels.

Doctor Who
Doctor Who wasn’t something I grew up with — it just never seemed very popular where I’m from. I actually stumbled into this universe much later, as an adult, while browsing other people’s Neocities pages. I kept seeing this mysterious blue box — the TARDIS — and it completely caught my attention. That’s when I realized just how many people loved this show… and I knew I had to give it a try. I started with the Ninth Doctor’s season, and I’m currently making my way through the Tenth Doctor’s era. I’m still very new to the world and its lore, but I’m already completely enchanted. Every episode feels like stepping into something magical, and I’m loving every second of the journey.
The TARDIS
The TARDIS stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space. It’s a living, sentient time machine and spacecraft used by the Doctor in the TV series Doctor Who. On the outside, it looks like a 1960s British police public call box — a tall blue wooden box with a glowing lamp on top and a sign that reads “POLICE PUBLIC CALL BOX.” That shape is actually a disguise created by its “chameleon circuit,” a device meant to help it blend into whatever time and place it lands in. The circuit broke during one of the Doctor’s early adventures… and it just got stuck like that.
The TARDIS is bigger on the inside. The interior is an impossibly large extradimensional space containing control rooms, libraries, swimming pools, gardens, corridors that seem to go on forever, storage rooms full of alien artifacts, and entire unseen sections that even the Doctor doesn’t fully understand. The central control room houses a hexagonal console covered in levers, switches, buttons, and screens. The ship doesn’t just transport through space — it travels through time. Past. Future. End of the universe!
My fav Doctor
I’m still pretty new to the Doctor Who universe and its lore, and I haven’t seen much just yet. But after watching the Ninth and Tenth Doctors’ seasons, I have to admit — the Ninth Doctor is still my favorite. He was my very first introduction to the series, and that first impression really stayed with me. I was honestly so disappointed to learn that Christopher Eccleston only had one season — I would have loved to see more of him! And I can safely say that I absolutely adore the dynamic between him and Rose. Their relationship just feels so special.
